Measurement of cervical spine mobility. Supported by the headgear all partial head movements can be measured. Measurement of spines total rotation is possible as well.
2 intergrated Inclinometers and a compass measure moving components. Inclinometers measure flexion/ extension as well as lateral inclination. Compass measures rotation. Inclinometers are adjustable in scale position 0°. Therefore differential measurements are possible. Compass measures rotation. Direction NORTH is adjusted within the support of a shoulder girdle containing 2 permanent magnets.
Various studies attest devices validity and reliabilty.
Additionally you can order a head-forward-unit which enables you to measure patients protaction- and retraction mobility.
